Indoor Field
In 2019, Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, approved construction of a new indoor practice facility to support athletes across multiple sports programs. With extensive experience in large-scale athletic facility projects, Sprinturf was selected to provide the playing surface for the 84,000-square-foot space.
Sprinturf installed the UltraBlade® turf system, a proven solution for multiuse facilities that require durability, reliability, and consistent performance. The facility now supports Ball State’s baseball, football, soccer, and softball teams during inclement weather, while also serving the broader campus and community, including the Pride of Mid-America Marching Band.
The indoor practice facility expanded year-round access for Ball State student-athletes and immediately strengthened the university’s training and competitive experience.
