Indoor Field
Back in 2019, Ball State University, located in Muncie, Indiana, approved the go-ahead to build an indoor practice facility for athletes participating in the school’s various sports programs. Having had extensive experience with such projects, Sprinturf was hired to equip the 84,000-square-foot facility with the appropriate surfaces. We chose our UltraBlade® turf system, which is ideal for multiuse fields because of its longevity, toughness and proven reliability. The facility is now used by Ball State’s baseball, football, soccer and softball teams during inclement weather and also serves the entire campus and broader community, including the Pride of Mid-America Marching Band. It made an immediate impact on the competitive experience of Ball State’s student-athletes.
