Sprinturf Awarded over 1 Million Square Foot Hoover Sports Complex

On June 1, 2017, Sprinturf, LLC was awarded one of the largest artificial turf projects in the nation. The scope of this work includes four (4) baseball fields targeting D-1 baseball and large tournaments, five (5) soccer fields and the wings at Hoover Metro-politan Stadium.  The Met” hosts the SEC baseball tournament, and a number of other high profile events throughout the year.

The City of Hoover and their construction manager Brasfield & Gorrie conducted an extensive review of almost every major turf company, evaluating the quality and history of past installations, operations capability, financial strength and ability to execute. Sprinturf came out on top based on their impeccable track record back to 1998, history of outstanding field performance and longevity, one hundred percent U.S.-based fiber and  urf manufac-turing, in-house installations and commitment to a superior customer experience. We appreciate the time and effort put in by the City and B&G to conduct such an extensive evaluation and we are honored to be chosen for this marque project.
