Environmental Benefits of Sprinturf

There are many ways that Sprinturf provides environmental benefits and utilizes “green” technology in the production of our synthetic turf solutions and as a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, we will continue to research and develop new “green” benefits to our synthetic turf system.

Sprinturf rubber infill is comprised of post consumer recycled tires which are safe and highly durable as an infill solution.   All of our infill materials have been tested and in fact, a patented Sprinturf 100% All Rubber Infill Synthetic Turf System will utilize over 18,000 recycled tires in a single athletic field*  – eliminating many years in a landfill and providing alternatives to their disposal.

LEED CERTIFICATION
Earn more points for the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Certification program with Sprinturf.  Using recycled infill materials and reducing water consumption with a Sprinturf field can contribute points towards LEED certification.   If you are planning certification for your new facility, talk to your architect or project engineer about using Sprinturf.

RECYCLE THE RECYCLED!
Sprinturf is one of the only companies in the industry that can offer to recycle the existing recycled infill materials in your synthetic turf system!  Are you ready for a replacement of your current field?  Just because the fiber has worn and is in need of replacement doesn’t mean the infill material is.  Contact Sprinturf today to learn how you can save money and utilize the infill in your current field.
